張鐵民，男，漢族，1968年7月出生于吉林省吉林市，物理學教授，1990年6月獲延邊大學物理專業理學學士學位；2008年7月獲中國科學院研究生院凝聚態物理專業理學博士學位；2008年7月始任海南師范大學物理教師，現為海南師范大學物理與電子工程學院教授，學院副院長。
張鐵民教授主要從事光電子材料與器件、激光應用研究。主講本科課程：《力學》《光學》《普通物理學》等。
主要學術成果：任職期間在國內外學術刊物上發表論文30篇，出版著作2部。獲海南省第三屆高等學校優秀科研成果三等獎，2009-2010年度海南省自然科學優秀學術論文三等獎。
